Kia Orana!

Kia Orana and welcome back to Term 3!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Liushin and Talhat who have joined our class earlier this week.  We are learning to settle into new routines and have begun the new term with great enthusiasm.

Week 2 we are celebrating Cook Islands Language week and have lots of fun activities organised for the week. In the RFS we have students doing art Monday and Tuesday, followed by Cook Islands dance workshops. These will all be lead by our senior students.

This Friday, our class will be hosting the school assembly and would like to invite our families to join us for this special occasion.

I would also like to say a massive “Tino Pai” to Austin Vaimohea for our school achievement award.  He has made tremendous progress in his reading and writing and it is great to see him persevere with the new strategies he has learnt.

Please find attached a link to the small clip we put together for our students.  This clip was to show our children that our small nation of the Cook Islands is famous world wide!
